He was predeceased by: his mother Rosie May Nichols. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Carolyn Ruth Zinser; his wife Carolyn of Pilot Point, TX; his father Charlie Leroy Cansler, Sr. of Littlefield, TX; his children, Kevin Cansler (Becky) of Amarillo, TX, Leslie Jones (Craig) of Corinth, TX and Christy Cansler of Argyle, TX; his grandchildren, Reese Wilson, Brad (Morgan Crumpton), Berkley Albracht, Spencer (Mason Guthrie), Schyler (Eric Lavoie) and Cody (Kristin Cansler); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Harper Crumpton and Kason Guthrie; and his sisters, Gaile Curtis of Littlefield, TX and Naomi Towner (Gary) of Overgaard, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
