It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolanda Gomez Garcia (Pharr, Texas), who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Severino Garcia and Santos Garcia; her daughter Lupita Gomez; and her siblings, Ernestina Torres, Esperanza Torres, Julia Garcia, Juanita Medina, Amelia Leija, Ofelia Luna and Jesus Garcia.
She is survived by: her husband Alberto Gomez; her children, Leticia Garcia, Yolanda Gomez, Irma Gomez Sosa, Delinda Martinez, Guadalupe Gomez, Ricardo Gomez, Pedro Gomez, Seferino Gomez, Enrique Gomez, Oscar Gomez, Alberto Gomez Jr., Gustavo Gomez and Betito Gomez; her sister Lupita Garcia; and her friend March. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren.
