He was predeceased by: his wife Amelia "Amy" Garza; and his siblings, Gloria Garza Garcia, Sylvia Garza Morales and Rodolfo Garza. He is survived by: his children, Roxanna Garza Mancha (Juan) of San Juan, Debbie Garza of Mission, Romeo Garza Jr. of Pharr and Gloria Garza Buenrostro (Tim) of Pharr. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
