She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Trevino and Rosa Trevino; her son Juanito (Oscar); and her siblings, Oralia Martinez, Omero Trevino, Octavio Trevino, Jorge Trevino, Agustin Trevino, Eduardo Trevino and Maria of Lourdes Guzman.

She is survived by: her husband Oscar Canales; and her brothers, Pedro (Damaris Trevino Jr.), Oscar (Janie Trevino), Jose (Trevino) and Thomas (Rose Trevino). She is also survived by 150 nieces and nephews and their extended families.
