He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Reyes and Marcelina Zapata; and his wife Emma Gloria Reyes. He is survived by: his children, Juan Reyes Jr. (Marcy), Dora Ester Mata (Arnoldo), Mary Lou Martinez, Diana, Jose Luis Reyes, Alfredo Reyes and Mario Alberto Reyes. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren.
