He was predeceased by: his wife Dominga Trejo; his daughter Adalia Ovalle; his grandson Basilio Ramos III; and his parents, Sostenes Trejo and Juanita Trejo.

He is survived by: his children, Noelia T. Hernandez (Severo) of Mission, Arnaldo Trejo of Pharr, Oralia Trejo of Mission, Patricia Pinon (Santiago) of Mission, Sostenes Trejo of Pharr and Armando Trejo of Pharr. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
