She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Sr. Salazar and Soledad Salazar; her husband Robert Gomez Sr.; and her son Robert Gomez Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Gomez Ibarra of Wimberley, TX and Luisa Gomez DeLeon (Javier) of McAllen, TX; her daughter-in-law Rachel Canfield Gomez of Austin, TX; her brother Pablo Salazar Jr. of Pharr; and her grandchildren, Christine, Javier, Melissa, Shelby, Lauren and Lucy. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews she considered as her own children.
