He was predeceased by: his son Rodolfo "Rudy" Garza; and his parents, Tirso Garza and Guadalupe Garza. He is survived by: his wife Francisca Garza; his children, Benito H. Garza Jr. of Hammond, IN, Ricardo Garza of Houston, Cynthia Martinez (Javier) of Mission and Sandra Ramblas (Frank); and his siblings, Ramiro Garza of Chicago, IL, Jose Garza of Pharr, Elva Mora of Pharr, Maria Adelina Casasola of Pharr and Lydia Vasquez of San Juan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
