He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Leal and Enriqueta Pina; and his siblings, Jose Leal Jr., Pete Leal, Robert Leal, Alma Rocha and Cari Villarreal.
He is survived by: his daughter Sara Melissa Leal; and his siblings, Irma, Rosendo Leal (Laticia), Kathy Grove (Jerry), Olga Bazan and Fred Leal (Letty). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
