He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earnest Layton and Lorraine Layton; his siblings, Clarence, Leon and Wanda; his wife Kaylene; his children, Melanie Morris (Vinoka) of Petersburg, Terry Layton of Ocala, FL and Kevin Layton (Pamela) of Petersburg; and his siblings, Buck Layton of Mansfield, Boone Layton of Arlington and Helen Johnson of Wichita, KS. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
