He was predeceased by: his parents, James K. Pingelton and Winnie G. Pingelton (Bogue); his brother James Pingelton; and his grandson Daniel Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Alice L. Thompson; his children, Deborah Stewart of Kemp, TX, Teresa Hightower (Bret), Samuel D. Pingelton, Jr. and Clinton (Caleb Pingelton); and his sisters, Patricia Morley of Gruver, TX and Shirley Pingelton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
