It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zelma Lee Canon of Pecos, Texas, born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil James and Jennie May Lee; her husband James Roy Canon (Buddy); and her siblings, Cecil Jim Lee and Annabel Pruitt.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Canon (Marjorie) of Yantis and Jack Canon (Cookie) of Pecos; her grandchildren, John Canon (Genessa Avara), Jennie Bradley (Jack) and Ashley Lara; and her sister Carol Clark. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the West of the Pecos Museum or a favorite charity.
