He was predeceased by: his mother Elpidia Evaro. He is survived by: his children, Chris Mendoza (Audrey), Fabian Mendoza (Saige), Kimberly Mendoza Yniguez (Jimmy) and Peter Mendoza IV (Karziah); and his sisters, Sylvia Ramirez (Silvestre), Diane Gonzalez (Al) and Esmeralda Jones (Tony). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.
