It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julie Gamel of Pecos, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rossman and Loyce Rossman. She is survived by: her granddaughter Koda Joy; her brother David Rossman; her husband Clinton Gamel of Mason; her daughters, Loyce Gamel of Sonora and Candy Davis (Robert) of Sonora; her granddaughters, Kodi Ann and Koda Joy Davis; and also Karen Scantlin.

A special thank you to the Shannon Medical Center COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals that assisted in Julie's care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Julie Gamel Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 94, Sonora, TX 76950.
