He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Maria; his wife Paula Payen; his children, Guadalupe B Payen III, Veronica Payen Olivarri (Paul), Alyssa Payen (Rocky Mata) and Angela Morales (Jesse); his stepsons, Mario, Gabriel and Leroy Gonzales; his stepgrandson Oscar Hernandez, Jr.; his stepdaughters, Marisol Rodriguez (Chris) and Estrella Gonzalez; his father Guadalupe F. Payen; and his siblings, Joe Payen, Mario Baeza Payen, Dulces Payen, Maria Valeriano and Araceli Payen.
