He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Leal and Sylvia Trujillo. He is survived by: his son Nicholas Lathaniel Leal; and his siblings, Audelia Leal, Raquel Valdez and Jimmy E. Leal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
