He is survived by: his children, Rachel R. Amaya (Jose), Luis Antonio Ramirez (Cynthia), Lucio Ramirez (Becky), Melissa Ramirez (Gabriel Carrillo) and Julio Ramirez; and his siblings, Matias Ramirez of Lytle, Catarino Ramirez (Sonia) of Pearsall, Juan Ramirez of Pearsall, Yolanda Rodriguez (Rey) of Michigan, Rosita Valdez (Melquiades Sr.) of Pearsall and Joe Ramirez (Sulema) of Pearsall. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
