He is survived by: his wife Winifred Trevino; his children, Robert Trevino (Kathy) and Beverly Eva Adams Cossins (John); his sisters, Andrea Pena of Anita Alaniz and Ann Trevino; his grandchildren, Robert Trevino Jr. (Jamilla) and Fern Celeste Cossins; and his great grandchild Hadrian Joseph Trevino. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
