It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cortez (Pearsall, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Marisol Cortez and Juan A. Rodriguez; his siblings, Krystal Ortegon and Benjamin Palacios; his grandparents, Jose M. Cortez, Joe Rodriguez and Dolores Sosa; his significant other Giovanna Palacios; and his children, Jordan Martinez Cortez, Rylan Canales Cortez, Gianna Cortez and Raeli Anna. He is also survived by his close friends and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
