He was predeceased by: his father Jaime Garcia; and his brother Mark Garcia. He is survived by: his mother Ramona Lopez-Ortiz; his wife Elisa Reyes of Pearsall; his children, Jack Peralta, Horacio Peralta, Vanessa Valenzuela, Fatima Garcia, Carey Garcia, Gwendolyn Garcia and Pedro Garcia; his stepparents, Yolanda Garcia and Gilbert Ortiz; and his siblings, Cynthia Cruz, Melissa Garcia, Leticia Ramirez, Catiria Valdez, Marie Ortiz, Jaime Garcia, Gilbert Ortiz, Bryan Garcia, Craig Garcia and April Garcia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
