He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Hinojosa and Maria Hinojosa (Vasquez); his son Juan Alfredo Hinojosa; and his siblings, Raul Hinojosa, Albert Hinojosa, Domingo Hinojosa, Juan Hinojosa, Vicenta Hinojosa, Susana Ovalle, Irene Morales and Maria Luisa Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora Hinojosa; his children, David Hinojosa (Becky), Jesse Hinojosa (April), Chris Hinojosa, Gloria Vela (Rudy), Christina Montez (Jesse), Aurora Saenz, Maryellen Vela (Roland) and Sara Hinojosa; his daughter-in-law Juanita Hinojosa; and his sisters, Juanita Morales and Feliz Alejandro. He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren.
