We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 81, Velva Marie Cooper of Pasadena, Texas, born in Freedom, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Sample and Alberta Sample; her brother Eldon Sample; her former husband Jim Cooper; and her nieces, Lisha Witt and Karen Simon.

She is survived by: her siblings, Boni Witt and Stanley Sample; and her sons, Kevin Cooper (Jackie) and Randall Cooper (Kellie).
