She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold William and Mary Louise Gibson of Martins Ferry; her nephew Kyle Falkenstein; her niece Stacie Falkenstein; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Gibson.

She is survived by: her son Nicholas Eugene Watts; her grandson Grayson Kyle Watts of Sumter; her siblings, Bob Gibson of Canton and Molly Falkenstein of Beallsville, Ohio; her nieces and nephews, Darcy Jedrey, Carly Figaro, Shelby Bolyard and Jon Falkenstein; and her cousins, Doug and Brad Rinderer. She is also survived by grand-nieces and grand-nephews; one great-nephew; and many other extended relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pasadena Ladies Auxiliary in her name.
