He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Hiram and Ruby Sims Goodwin; his wife Lillian Mae Luksa Goodwin; his daughter Carol Mayes; and his brothers, James Goodwin and William Goodwin.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Goodwin (Jonelle) and John Goodwin (Robin); his grandchildren, Bryan, Tyler (Bonnie), Austin (Whitney), Mason (Cidney), Lillian and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Bryleigh and Sloane.
