He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elbert and Jenni Mae Lomax; and his brother Luther Lomax. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bowman Lomax; his children, Robin Lomax Petty, Robert Tyson Lomax and Lucian Murphy Lomax; his granddaughter Tia Faleishia McBrien (Damien McBrien); and his great grandchildren, Brianaa Rose McBrien and Blakley Aleece McBrien.
