She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Modesto Ruiz and Cesaria Ruiz; her husband John D. Villanueva Jr.; her children, Debbie Dimas (Tim) and David; and her siblings, Tony Ruiz (Lucy), Armando Ruiz (Rose), Mary Ruiz and Gracie Garza (Arnold). She was also cherished by step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
