With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ofelia Arguelles Saiz of Pasadena, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Arguelles and Maria Silva Arguelles; and her siblings, Oscar, Maximino, Guadalupe (Lupe), Alfredo, Romana and Matiana.

She is survived by: her brother Manuel Silva Arguelles; and her children, Janie Velasquez, Mary Helen Sera, Sandy Porras, Deborah Saiz Garcia, Jerome Saiz (Jerry) and Zachary Joseph Saiz. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Felix H. Morales Funeral Home - Central (2901 Canal St, Houston, TX 77003). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
