Norman H. Chaffee Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman H. Chaffee (Pasadena, Texas), born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Norman departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Norman may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Norman leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Norm (Bing). He is survived by: his wife Kathie Patrick Chaffee; his sister Pam Tornello; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Norman Chaffee Scholarship fund which will provide scholarships for students to attend Norm's beloved Space Settlement Design competitions.
