He is survived by: his wife Marylou Driver; his children, Norberto Escamilla (Thelma), Susana Gates (Bruce), Lucy Rodriguez (Chris), Sally Escamilla (Brian), Micajah "Bubba" Driver (Sharon), Jonice Puckett and Christine Jabot; and his sisters, Irma Beltran, Rosa Gonzales, Yolanda Olivo and Teresa Solis. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
