He is survived by: his children, Shari Willis (Michael) and Gary Mechler (Cynthia); his granddaughters, Jennifer Steil (Keith), Autumn Child (Tristan) and Kimberly Simon (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Zoey Simon, Knox Steil and Zaya Simon; and his nephew Rick Mechler. He is also survived by numerous friends and neighbors.
