She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Alphese Wood and Luella Mae Waters-Wood; her husband Lonnie Wayne Ray; her brothers, Alvis Wood (Alyne), Danny Wood (Wanda) and Sammy Wood; her son Tony Ray Barnett; her grandsons, Joshua Wayne Ray and Zachary Wayne Ray; her son Ricky Ray of Cedar Park; her granddaughter Stephanie Millegan; her uncle Floyd Waters of League City; and her nephews, Gary Wood and Michael Wood.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Barnett (Tammy) of Huntsville, Pamela Hayes (Larry) of Pearland, Ronald Ray (Dixie) of Teague and Bobby Ray (Hillary) of Massena, NY.; her sister-in-law Sandra Wood of College Station; her uncle Wiley Eldon Waters (Eva) of Athens; and her aunt Charlene Waters of League City. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
