She was predeceased by: her husband Rodney George; her daughters, Sheila George and Carol Valmain; and her grandson Ethan Palmer. She is survived by: her son Michael George (Penny); her grandchildren, Kristopher Stewart (Sarah), Candice Faulk (Garland), Leah Bolton (Andy), Greg Valmain (Victoria) and Corie Irvin (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Aria, Ashtyn Stewart, Fisher Faulk, Taylor, Rosie Valmain, Bobby Dunn and Austin Irvin.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to please donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
