She was predeceased by: her parents, John James Vanderburg and Tura Maude Carpenter Vanderburg; and her siblings, Johnnie, Rudolph, Kenneth and Sonny.
She is survived by: her children, Charisa Colton (Laron) and Chad Thurman (Amanda); her grandchildren, C. J. Saunders (Courtney), Caitlynn Saunders, Dain Thurman (Kayleigh), Carsyn Saunders Malone (Wesley), Courtney Boswell (Levi), Collin Allen (Peyton) and Jacob Allen; and her sister Wanda Alexander. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
