We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2023, at the age of 78, Maurita Pitman of Pampa, Texas, born in Wheeler, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. H. Turner and Reda Turner; her former husband Everett Blackwell; her husband Bob Pitman; her brother Davie Turner; and her stepchildren, Rodney Pitman and Becky Mooney.
She is survived by: her brother J. W. Turner (Selma Buske) of Matador; her nieces, Heidi Baggerman (Eugene) of Pampa, Julie Moore (Bruce) of Athens, Carla Howard (Bill) of Wheeler and Teresa Culberson (John) of San Angelo; her nephew Steve Turner (Melissa) of Vincennes, Indiana; her stepson Shawn Pitman (Christie) of Mansfield; her sister-in-law Vangie Turner of Pampa; her stepdaughter Lisa Stone (Ray) of Anton; and her siblings-in-law, John Pitman of Lubbock, Carl Pitman (Sharon) of Kempner and Mary Vorheis of Clarendon. She is also survived by several great nieces & great nephews; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
