He is survived by: his wife Melinda Sanders of Orange, Texas; his children, Jill Carpenter Mahan (Ryan Mahan) of Orange, Texas and Joshua Sanders (Lindsay Sanders) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Colby Carpenter (Skyler Authement), Carsen Carpenter, Caryss Carpenter, Sage Sanders, Adelaide Sanders, Beau Sanders, Stevie Bloom Sanders, Max Mahan, Sam Mahan, Jud Mahan, Lila Oxford and Quintin Oxford; his great grandchild Cohen Carpenter; and his brothers, Malcom Sanders and Wenden Sanders. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
