He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Carpenter and Sadie Matherne Carpenter; and his sisters, Joy Bergeron (Frankie) and Violet Trammel (Howard). He is survived by: his wife Cassandra Carpenter; his children, Mary Burch (Kent) of Beaumont, Leah Hayes of Austin and Roman Carpenter of Conroe; and his grandchildren, Tyler Johnnie (Kim), Cody Johnnie (Ana), Allen Burch, Trish Lopez (Pancho), Zach Hayes (Rebecca), Kasidy Brosig (Matt), Colby Carpenter, Carson Carpenter and Caryss Carpenter. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
