She was predeceased by: her grandmother Lupe Leija Mata; her husband Tomas; her sons, Sammy and Joe Mata; her parents, Jose Leija and Juanita Leija; and her great grandchild Noah Kai Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Joann Garcia (Mario), Terri Nabarrete and Tommy Jr. Mata (Bobbie). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren, and 38 great, great grandchildren.
