She is survived by: her husband Joe Blevins; her daughter Tawana Goerler; her son-in-law Thomas Goerler; her grandchildren, Erik, Jacob and Shelby Goerler; and her sisters, Nancy Privett and Esther Perry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation in memory of Veda Blevins.
