She is survived by: her daughter Denise Ortez (Don); her grandsons, Eric Ortez (Amy) of New Braunfels and Ryan Ortez (Abigail) of Baltimore; her great grandchildren, William Ortez and Nolan Ortez; and her brother Willie Meckel (Isabell).

Memorial donations may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
