It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Frances Peters Kanz of New Braunfels, Texas, who passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Dale Weems Peters and Ernest Sidney Peters; her grandfathers, Wurstfest, Lederhosen, German and Myron Floren; her husband Elburn "Sonny" Kanz; and her siblings, James "Skeeter" Peters, Bill Peters, Alice Moos, Grace McBride, Ruth Cowles, Mildred Koch and Katy Motycka.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Pfeiffer (Curtis) and Leigh Ann Lorenz (Leroy); her grandchildren, Christina Lorenz, Lori Gonzales (Jake), Greg Lorenz, Curtis J Pfeiffer (Erica), Laci Webber (Brian) and Kristopher Pfeiffer; her great grandchildren, Nakita, Reyna, Caidyn Block, Grace, Cadence, Cecilia Webber, Connor Pfeiffer, Myles Brome, Kaitlyn Williams, Addison, Preston Quintanilla, Dylan, Tyler and Parker Gonzales; and her sister-in-law Alyce Kanz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to First Protestant Church, Magnolia Hospice, American Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
