He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kanas and Mary Kanas. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Forester Kanas; his children, Justin Joseph Kanas (Amy Kanas) of Bulverde, Texas, Derek Kyle Joseph Kanas (Taylor Kanas) of Tomball, Texas and Brooke Nicole Kanas of Dallas, Texas.; and his siblings, Joanie Stoddard of Liberty and Jeffrey Kanas (Jean Kanas) of East Moriches. He is also survived by his family and friends.
