We bid farewell to Glidden Libby of New Braunfels, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 25, 2024 at the age of 84. Glidden touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ore Glidden Libby and Mary Elizabeth Libby; his brother Bradford Libby; his sister-in-law Helen Libby; and his great-nephew Philip Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Robinson Libby; his children, Kristen Klein (John), Jennifer Vasquez and Jason Libby (Leanne); his grandchildren, John Klein (Nicole), Neil Klein, Matthew Klein, Richard Vasquez (Rebecca), Jason Vasquez (Nicole), Joshua Vasquez (Sydney), Margaret Libby and Theodore Libby; his great grandchildren, Addison Klein, Karson Klein, Johnathan Vasquez and Landon Vasquez; and his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Robinson and Barbara Lawrenz. He is also survived by five nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Headwaters at the Comal or the New Braunfels Public Library Foundation.
