With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Prather (New Braunfels, Texas), born in Refugio, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2023 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her child T. C.; her husband Larry Prather; her grandparents, LeRoy, Lila Rae Haertig, Johnny and Pearl O'Donnell; her children, Trenton Amador (Kaily) and Megan Mendez (Joseph); her stepchildren, Matt Prather (Kelly) and LeAnn Prather; her siblings, Wayne Haertig (Jennifer), Bryn Cisneros (John), Kelly Haertig (Joel Evans), Shelly Haertig and Christy Haertig; her grandchildren, Jordan Garcia, Ramzie Jaso, Axel Mendez, Jaxxon Mendez, Chris Mendez, Sean Mendez, Gavin Amador, Hollis, Cruz Amador and Andrew Amador; her stepgranddaughter Paisley Prather; her great grandchildren, Koen Blain and Ava Day; and her cousin Jennifer O'Donnell (Dawn). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Donations to honor Dawns memory may be given to Faith United Church or Driscoll Children's Hospital of Corpus Christi.
