He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Cantu and Lucinda Cantu; his wife Frances Sanchez Cantu; and his siblings, Armando Cantu, Hector Cantu, Bobby Cantu, Raul Cantu and Mary Helen Camarillo.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Cantu, Arturo "Tudy" Cantu, Jr., Yvonne Huff (John) and Anthony Cantu (Liliana); his grandchildren, Megan Segovia, Travis Cantu, McKenzie Riley, Ian Huff and Cassandra Cantu; his great grandchild Carter Cantu; and his siblings, Tencha Torres (Arturo), Mary E. Martinez (Joe), Clara Aleman and Rick Cantu.
