He was predeceased by: his parents, Harl Vaughn Solomon and Estelle Boyer Solomon; his sisters, Juanita Sweatman and Jean Hubbard; and his grandson Robby Solomon.
He is survived by: his wife Lynnette Kilpatrick Solomon; his children, Carol Foster (Dave) and Jim Solomon (Robin); his grandchildren, Chloe Foster, Timothy Foster and Rebecca Solomon; his great grandchild Amelia Marquez; and his nieces, Phyllis Sulcer, Nita Jordan, Peggy Hubbard and Valerie Brown.
