It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Heberto Benavides of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Amparo; his son-in-law Ken Collier; his brother Juan Agapito; his grandsons, Mateo and Gael Benavides-Soto; and his parents, Heberto Sr. Benavides and Alicia Benavides.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Collier and Heberto Jerry (Treicy Soto) of Miami; his grandchildren, Nicole of College Station, TX, Esteban Joel, Renata and Catalina Benavides-Soto of Miami, Florida; and his brother Julian Del Valle of Laredo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
