He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Jim" Rector and Wilma Mae Barrett; his son Richard "Lil Rick" Haufpauir-Rector; and his brother Charles Rector (Nancy). He is survived by: his wife Michele Rector; his stepchildren, Wendi Belyeu (Clifton), Larry Stevenson (Laurie) and Juan Hernandez III (Brandi); his daughters, Ashley Casanova (Jose) and Monica Loadwick; and his grandchildren, Peyton Barrett, Preston Nichols, Juan Hernandez IV "Cowboy" (Kristen), Neftali, Cassie, Hannah, Leah, Basilia and Jose Jr.. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
