He is survived by: his children, Gabriel Vargas of Lubbock, Matthew Vargas of Muleshoe, Isaac Vargas of Muleshoe, Texas and Jessica Vargas of Lubbock, Texas; his siblings, Mary Vargas of Lubbock, Francis Vargas of Muleshoe, Janet Vargas of Kyle, Glorya Vargas of Austin, Texas, Joe Miguel Vargas (Kristinia) of Muleshoe and Rolando Vargas; his wives, Maryann of Canyon and Anna of Levelland, Texas; and his grandchildren, Juan Carranza, Sebastian Carranza and Zachry Carranza.
