He was predeceased by: his parents, Monceis Bara and Ramona Bara (Saiz); his former wife Nicolosa; his children, Hector Bara, Fred Bara, Ernest Bara, Ray Bara and Erlinda Bara; and his siblings, Lupe Flores, Rosa Cortez, Lisa Lacoser, Janice Flores, Esther Rodriguez, Moncies Cheve Bara and Adolfo Bara.
He is survived by: his spouse Laverne Sitz; his sons, Gerald Bara (Patsy) of Denton and Roy Bara (Betty) of Amarillo, Texas; and his siblings, Feliz Carrion of Muleshoe, Texas and Joe Bara of Muleshoe, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
