She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Mills (Slim) and Ethel Mozelle Mills (Messimer); her husband Benny Joe Hammond; her daughter Stephanie Hammond; her sisters, Marilyn Stokley and Diane Weatherford; and her brothers-in-law, Billy Roycroft, Bill Stokley and Bruce Weatherford.
She is survived by: her son Benny Joe Hammond, Jr. of Mineola; her grandchildren, Kadin Hammond, Shaina Freeman (Robert), Joe Workman, Jr. (Lexi) and Harlie Gill; her great grandchildren, Henry, Dustin, Shaila, Thomas, Kay-Lynn and Dawson; and her sisters, Linda Roycroft of Longview and Sherry Finney (Larry) of Winnsboro. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nephews and nieces.
